We all grew up
Since childhood Maggi has been an integral part of our lives and none of us has grown up when it comes to a savoury plate of Maggi. Be it our school lunchbox, family fun time, friends get together’s, backup for our other meals, a romantic short date, wee hours cravings and so on, maggi has been like friends forever. Though it takes more then 2 mins to get ready(as written on the packets), our love for maggi is eternal and ever lasting.
After tasting Sharma ji kachori waale at Shakti Nagar red light we reached Tom Uncle’s Maggi point which is serving so many varieties of maggi since 1978. This small kiosk located at Maurice Nagar chowk, near Ramjas College(earlier in front of Khalsa College) , run by Kataria family, is one of the favorite point for Delhi University students. Maggi here starts from Rs 40 to Rs 90 so its very very pocket friendly specially for students.
They serve more then 50 varieties of maggi with some yummy grilled sandwiches, pastas, macroni and chaat. Since we cant have all the maggies, we decided to have All in One Maggi which was served within minutes. It was filled with veggies and paneer with cheese drooling over. What else you want in life once you have one of the best Maggi recipe in your hands. We loved every bit of it.
We also had Strawberry shake and Desi Logic. Strawberry milk shake was good, nothing new but Desi Logic mocktail was something we found something different made of Pineapple and Jeera masala. Guys do try Desi Logic if you are here.
This is must visit kiosk if you in or around North Campus or just job for a quick bite. There s no sitting arrangement as such but you can fulfil your maggi craving standing or in your car.
