Undivided India food – North-West Frontier Food Festival – Radisson Blue(Paschim Vihar)

As we all know in India, multiculturalism is woven into almost every aspects of life, especially in food. Specially Delhi’s culinary scene offers an eclectic mixture of Modern and undivided India. And Chef Osama Jalali is a definitive guide to all our traditional recipes. The food served by him is very reliable and comforting.

Recently I attended “Undivided India food – North-West Frontier Food Festival” * at Radisson Blue(Paschim Vihar) Indyaki(Indian specialty restaurant) which is curated by Master Connoisseur Chef Osama Jalali and Celebrity Chef Rakesh Sethi. The aim of the festival is to take us to undivided India’s honourable classics which I believe should be tried by all food lovers. The dining room at the of Indyaki boasts the theme of “Undivided India” at its helm, as well as a pretty stonking collection of paintings inside.

This festival is a great template for delicious food packed with best sourced spices and aromatics and the set up is highly distinctive . Here Chef Osama has employed old age cooking techniques and combines a diverse range of fresh, natural and minimally processed ingredients into a flavour rich luxury dining experience.

It happens rarely that you love all the dishes listed in the menu and we hoovered almost everything. Although listing a few of them:

Kukkad da Shorba, Amuse Bouche, Sunfaya Kebab, Rajma ki Galouti, Chana Jhor Ke Chaap, Chandan Kebab, Aatish e murg tikka, Punjabi Kukkad, Gosth Chappli Kebab, Tawa ki Bater, Balochi Gosth, Mongewala Kukkad, Kenti Dal, Aachari Chicken Biryani, Qeema Naan and much more ..

Specially to mention about Tawa ki Bater dish which is Punjabi style rustic quail in spices. Compared to eating chicken, eating quail is better for you because quail meat is higher in vitamin C and iron. Quail gives you vitamin A whereas chicken does not. And quail also gives you more minerals and amino acids than chicken meat.

Pair your food with the best cocktails curated by mixologist Mr Raj Das with all the love and passion. Few of them are

Betel Smack Mojito, Daiquiri, Passionate cranberry, Spicy Cosmo

Overall a must visit place and a must try food..
