Mallacca Malaysian Kitchen, 32nd Milestone, Gurgaon

Essentially, Malaysian food encompasses several cultures. When we fuse the culinary traditions of Malay, Chinese and Indians, we get a wonderful collision of flavors that make up Malaysian cuisine. It is without any doubt an interesting and varied adventure, full of spices, flavors, and aromas. Recently we intrigued Mallacca Malaysian Kitchen by Laut at 32nd Milestone in Gurgaon which we found is easily the best choice to try the authentic Malaysian cuisines in Delhi NCR. It is a beautifully designed restaurant depicting traditional Malaysian women and hanging jute lamps which is a treat to the foodies eyes even before they try the food.

The selection of savories here are varied and delectable. With newly added items in their menu and newly launched bar we had a lot to try. We therefore relished the following delicacies:
Kerabu Mangga : Kerabu basically means salad in Malaysian language and Mangga is Mango. This dish is a good appetiser especially when the weather is hot. Here it was correct blend of slight sweet, sour and spicy. This dish prepared by the restaurant really suited my taste buds.

Tau Cheo Potato : Tau Cheo is fermented bean sauce which is used to boost in flavors. We loved the potatoes tossed in this yellow bean sauce.

Black pepper Lamb : This delicious dish was something to be cliched on. It is braised lamb made with roasted chilli paste, basil, bamboo shoots and black pepper sauce.

Roti Jala : This Malaysian Roti jala needs a special introduction as it forms a special part of Malaysian Cuisine. It is very tender and delicate made special with coconut milk. egg batter etc. No Roti Jalla is complete without curries so we haved with lamb curry.

Terong Balado : Now this delicacy is something to die for. It is grilled eggplant with peanut sauce and fresh red chilies. We loved all the hot and spicy flavors of this dish.

Signature Cocktails:
The Black Scorpion & Limau Gedang : These Vodka and Gin based cocktails respectively were a heaven for us in the Delhi summers. All natural ingredients are being used in their bar which is again a specialty here.

Overall we are in love with everything here and it is a must visit place. We ll surely visit again to try other delicacies we were not able to do this time.
