Rajwada Bites – Udaipur

While enjoying the grandeur of beautiful city of artificial lakes we came across a traditional restaurant Rajwada Bites,
a Rajasthani restaurant with all the look and feel of a traditional dhaba. Staff was soft and courteous and they made us sit on a table overlooking the folk dance performances. So while enjoying the Mewar delicacies you can get dragged in the folk dance performances.

We started  ordering the starters in which we ordered Chicken Malai Tikka and Dahi Ke Kabab. Both were of worst quality with no aroma of spices. In chicken malai tikka chicken was soft and tender but there was very much salt into it and it failed to tantalize our taste buds. Same for Dahi ke kababs, they were cooked well with hung curd but in terms of salt and spices we didnt find any exiting about the dish. We ordered Hot & Sour soup as well which was very hot though but was not sour.

We called the waiter and told him about the food quality, and requested him to get some good signature dish that make our visit to Rajwara bites a worth experience. He agreed softly and we ordered Laal Maas with some Jeera Rice. Laal maas was mutton cooked tomato gravy again with no taste of good spices or on a technique of slow cooking. We called the manager and after he tasted the same he also agreed that Laal Maas is not good and just cooked in tomato gravy. He apologized and cancelled the order for the Laal Maas. We got all leftover packed so that we can give to someone in need of food.

Overall visiting Rajwara Bites was not a worth experience as we didnt find any single dish to be relished upon.
