Perceiving the same feeling that actually soothes your soul is a rare phenomenon that has actually been made possible by Monsoon by Cafe Lota in Aerocity. Giving away joy and happiness as you get in Monsoon through their food is the main motto of this place. Just few steps downstairs in Workmark 1 in Aerocity is this Indo Western food fusion to drool over. Not so big and always crowded, this restaurant is fresh, modern, and enticing. It is an environmental friendly restaurant with lot of green plants placed and using things like eco friendly coasters. This restaurant is very much about tapas-style small sharing plates, packed with strong flavours taking their inspiration from all across India.
Coming to food, the menu is so beautiful that you will be tempted to order everything in it. We started our food journey with Lemon & Ginger Chicken and Prawn Pepper Stir Fry. Both the dishes were extremely tender and juicy made with right amount of spices. For us these dishes are a must try here.
For vegetarian starters we had Buckwheat Pancakes and Yogurt & Cheese Croquettes. The gluten free Buckwheat Pancakes were so fluffy, tender and so delicious, we loved every byte of it. Stuffed with Kalimpong cheese the Yogurt & Cheese Croquettes were very crunchy with a unique taste and a must try.
For the Main Course we had Aloo Gosht & Broccoli Makhani. Both the delicacies are something not available easily in Delhi NCR but are worth a try.
Our accompanying drinks were Valdivieso Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine, Red Wine Sangria, Mango & Green Chilli Sangria and Kiwi Panna.
Mangoes, Chillies and Wine muddled together to make the classic flavor Mango & Green Chilli Sangria, loved this drink.
Kiwi Panna was a very interesting drink with an interesting twist to the usual aam panna we drink.
For the desserts we had Suji halwa with a twist of orange fflavour in it. A treat for the sweet-tooth.
