When you get tired of sight seeing, you definitely need a serene place to have dinner. This is the right place for you situated on the Fatehsagar Lake front,
with all the candles on the tables all for you. A pocket friendly place, with scenic beauty and a heavy foot fall of most of the tourists visiting Udaipur. Ambience is not up to the mark but who needs the ambience when just crave for good food. The staff is courteous and friendly with prompt service.
We started with Chicken Hot & Sour soup which was just fine not too good not bad even.
Followed by Assorted veg platter which we liked the most consisting of more then sufficient amount of pieces of well roasted mushrooms, baked and stuffed potatoes, paneer tikka and veg kababs. This platter was something which we relished the most with the spices intact and perfectly baked and roasted.
On their advice we tried Bhuna Chicken which also became a part of our favorite list. The quantity served is much more then you normally get in other restaurants.
After asking their signature main course non vegetarian dish we ordered Mutton Dhungarwala with smoky flavour. Although the smoky flavour was good but we didnt like the dish much. It looked like as they served us the Mutton with cooked tomato gravy with no flavour of spices. So guys try laal maas instead of ordering Mutton Dhungarwala cause Laal Maas is something which is prepared good almost all over Udaipur.
Jhumar is a must try if you visit Udaipur with good water front and also make sure weather is good to enjoy the food and spend a lovely evening with your family and friends.
