We humans gets more congenial knowing that everything in the universe has its place and that things are what they are for a reason. Getting close to nature in terms of our eating have multiple benefits in terms of health, nutrition, for local farmers, sustainability for future generations etc etc etc .. When fruits and vegetables are picked for consumption from the farmers directly that have been naturally ripened on the vine or the tree and harvested at the right time, it will have much more flavor and nutrition. Such an intuitive eating we learned from trained and passionate Chef Gautam Kumar and Mr Manjeet Kr Gole when we visited Country Inn Suits at Sector – 29, Gurugram.
For Welcome drinks we had Bel Ka Sharbet and Chilled Ram Laddu Shots (Made up of Ram Laddu Charun).
As we all know the benefits of Bel or Wood Apple, mainly protecting us from summers heat, was a very delightful and soothing beverage for hot summers.
How can we forget the childhood finger licking love for Ram laddu churan, now we got the Ram laddu shots as a welcome drink, which we savored completely and touched our hearts.

Chilled Ram Laddu Shots (Made up of Ram Laddu Charun)
Amaranth Broccoli Soup Fresh broccoli simmered and blended up with Amarnath seeds and was made to perfection to make it slurpably scrumptious vegan broccoli soup.
For starters we tried Amaranth Lavoush with Zimikand Hummus, Biagan Ka Bhatra & Guraama (Raw mango Sweet Chutney) – Isn’t is something we never heard off… but Chef Gautam is someone who gives you such new recipes that are full of taste and nutrition.
Shehtut with Thick Honey Lemon Dressings – Again our childhood love shehtut or mulberries was served with thick honey dressings which i think we gobbled within minutes.
Kakri with Achaari Dahi and Ramras (Salt and Chilli Mix)
For Main Course we had
- Kalmi Murgh
- Bharwan Parwal
- Bhindi Bhaja
- Dal Mosaic (Makhni)
- Kathal ki Biryani
- Raw Banana in Malasian Curry
- Millet Fried Rice
Everything was made to perfection and was finger licking. Specially Dal Makhani which is based on slow cooking was very much similar to Dal Bukhara. Using kalmi, Parwal, kathal, millets in their best is something which can found in Country inn only.
Desserts : Bel Baked Yogurt and Mirchi Ka Halwa both are must try desserts here ..
To try the best seasonal menu one must keep on going Country Inn.
Happy Eating!!
